I have over ten years experience in building database driven Web applications. I have designed and developed many
Content Management Systems, E-Commerce applications and gallery oriented sites. The following is a list of development
skills and technologies that I have extensive experience with: front-end/ back-end integaration, Javascript, the DOM, AJAX, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), HTML, DHTML, cross-browser compatibility, browser detection,
Javascript, APIs such as Dojo 0.4, JSON, current best practices, database design, application design, PHP, Perl, ASP, SQL, MySQL, SQL Server,
Oracle, Microsoft Access & Excel and Photoshop. Currently, I am building an AJAX API to use on future sites. AJAX is a term
given to a group of technologies put to use in a certain way. The technologies used are
HTML (or XHTML), CSS, The DOM (Document Object Model), JavaScript, XMLHttpRequest object and XML or alternate data structures. The
XMLHttpRequest object is used to exchange data asynchronously with the web server.
